Principal Letter
Dear Parents and Scholars,
My name is Octavio Pérez, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as the Principal of Mesa Robles School! I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a school with such a positive and dynamic culture. Throughout my 29 years in education, I have worked as a middle school teacher, high school teacher, District Program Coordinator, Assistant Principal at a K-8 school, and School Principal at a K-6 school. I am fortunate to have worked in many different positions throughout my career. My experience will guide me as a good leader for our Mesa Robles community and students!
I am excited to work with your children, but I also look forward to our work together to lead Mesa Robles into its next chapter of academic excellence and distinction. Along with the teachers and staff, I am deeply committed to maintaining and enhancing the legacy of success established by Mesa Robles. I will work hard to build strong relationships with parents, students, and community partners, and my goal this year is to ensure that all children grow to their fullest potential and to provide consistent implementation of the curriculum in a rigorous manner.
As I start my 6th year as your school principal, it is essential that all who enter our campus, students, parents, faculty, and staff, feel welcomed and excited to be here! A positive learning environment enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a personable, fun, and engaging way. My door is always open, and I welcome your input. Please share any insights or concerns you might have throughout the school year. I look forward to meeting and supporting you and your child through these formative years.

Muy apreciados padres de familia
¡Mi nombre es Octavio Pérez y estoy encantado de presentarme como el Director de la Escuela Mesa Robles! Me siento muy honrado de tener la oportunidad de dirigir una escuela con una cultura tan positiva y dinámica. A lo largo de mis 29 años en educación, he trabajado como maestro de escuela intermedia, maestro de preparatoria, coordinador de programa al nivel de distrito, subdirector en una escuela K-8, director de una escuela K-6 y ahora aqui en Mesa Robles ¡ Mi objetivo siempre es ser un buen líder para nuestra comunidad y estudiantes de Mesa Robles!
No solo estoy emocionado de trabajar con sus hijos, espero con ansias el trabajo que haremos juntos para llevar a Mesa Robles a su próximo capítulo de excelencia y distinción académica. Junto con los maestros y el personal, trabajaré ardientement para continuar con el legado de éxito establecido por Mesa Robles mediante la construcción de relaciones sólidas con padres, estudiantes y socios de la comunidad. Mi objetivo este año es asegurar que todos los niños crezcan a su potencial máximo y proporcionar una implementación consistente del plan de estudios de manera rigurosa.
Este año escolar serà mi sexto año como el director de Mesa Robles y es muy importante que todos los que ingresan a nuestro campo escolar: estudiantes, padres, profesores y personal, se sientan bienvenidos y emocionados de estar aquí. Manteniendo un ambiente de aprendizaje positivo nos permite enfrentar los desafíos de la excelencia académica de una manera agradable, divertida y atractiva. Mi puerta siempre está abierta y agradezco su aporte. No dude en compartir cualquier idea o inquietud que pueda tener durante el año escolar. Espero conocerlos y apoyarlos a usted y a su hijo durante estos años de formación escolar.
